Images from Turkey

Early this summer I had the opportunity to visit Turkey for a couple weeks. I was in Istanbul, Bursa, Goreme, various points in Kapadokya, and Izmir. Needless to say I fell in love with the country. It seemed that nearly every time I opened my mouth it was to say, “Wow.” The people were so friendly, the sights were so wondrous, and the famously rich history and national pride made it even more enchanting. During my stay in the country I experienced political rallies for their most recent election, an animal rights march in Karakoy, and the Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day in Turkey.
